Appointment Tips and Requirements:

• Upon Arrival, please check into the office.

​

• To ensure a smooth and efficient experience, we kindly request that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This allows us time to prepare the studio room, ensure optimal audio levels, make minor video angle adjustments, and attend to any necessary setup requirements. We value your commitment to punctuality, as it allows us to deliver the highest quality service. Please note that failure to arrive within the specified timeframe may result in an automatic cancellation of your appointment without eligibility for a refund.

• LATE GUESTS: We recognize that unforeseen circumstances can sometimes cause guests to arrive late to your session. While we understand that this may be beyond your control, it is essential to consider the impact on our other clients who have scheduled sessions immediately following yours. In fairness to all our clients, it is important to maintain the integrity of their allocated time. Therefore, kindly note that accommodating late arriving guests is not our responsibility. In such situations, you have a couple of options available. You may request additional time, subject to our approval and schedule availability, or adjust the interview duration with the late arriving guest. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a smooth experience for all parties involved.

• For your convenience, we have implemented a timer system for your studio appointment. Once the timer ends, we kindly request that you conclude your session promptly, allowing for a smooth transition. To ensure a seamless experience, we provide an additional grace period of 5 minutes for you to gather your belongings and exit the studio room. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the scheduled time, allowing us to effectively accommodate all our valued clients.

• At Back Lot Studios, our deep-rooted expertise in podcasting sets us apart. We understand that extraordinary discussions or sessions can sometimes surpass the planned duration. Should this occur, please reach out to us. Depending on our schedule and at our discretion, we might provide the opportunity to prolong your recording session for an extra charge. We recognize the importance of seizing those remarkable moments and strive to meet your requirements whenever feasible.

• Studio/lighting assistant services are available at an additional cost.

​

• A reminder email will be sent 24 hours before your rental (including directions and check-in instructions).

​

What to Expect:

Upon arrival, we'll collect any remaining balance via credit/debit card, review any studio amenities and rules.

If you need to bring in gear or props, the front entrance can be propped open temporarily until finished.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 100% of the reserved services. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, we may be unable to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. We will do our best to reschedule your service for another convenient time. We require a credit card to hold your appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file. In a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future services at our discretion.

We are located in two buildings near the Phoenix Airport.

There's open parking at the back of studio 1 and the studio entrance is located on the South Side of East Jefferson Street.
